Introduction

Shouraizou is a study project that aims to investigate the technological innovations in Japan. Since we cannot learn everthing from books, the internet or other sources we are planning to go to Japan to see with our own eyes what's going on there. As you can image it's not just a tour, it's a tour to the land of the rising sun, the land of great technological innovations! It's a study tour that will explore these technological innovations inside Japanese companies and institutes. Of course, besides this great technological exploration, there's more to see and to investigate. Think of the culture, the ambience and the every day life of the Japanese. We are very curious to see, to feel and to undergo all of this. And still, even though we may think we've learned a lot about Japan from our preliminary researches, Japan will amaze us and will confirm that the only way to learn about Japan is to go there!

We are aware of the fact that all this sounds like a huge challenge and a very big project. That's what's makes the difference. Shouraizou seeks that challenge and we are eager to make this project a project nobody will ever forget. The Shouraizou committee and every other participant of the project is committed to this project to make it a success. But, to be realistic, we all know Japan is not just a country. It's Japan! For our standards Japan is not a cheap place to stay and travel. Their corporate culture is unknown to us and ours is unknown for them. So let's face the facts. Shouraizou is looking for partners who are willing to participate in our project. We believe that our project is a unique opportunity for companies, so become a partner in our project and help 35 students to explore Japan.

In short, Shouraizou is looking for partners who can help us to get financial means (or materials like a laptop etcetera) and to get in thouch with Japanese companies. Since we also have a lot to offer for companies we see great opportunities to become partners with those companies.

What do we have to offer?

Contract Research
We've got students ready to do some work (solving a problem, investigating new opportunities, (re)designing or simulating produts) for your company. Think of all the possibilities those students have at our university to help your company.

Sponsor Deals
The second thing we can offer is the possibility to get in touch with the students of our project and to use our project to market your company's name. For this we can come up with hundreds of options, from simple advertising possibilities up to corporate presentations and so on.

Excursions
Besides the excursions we would like to do in Japan we are also very interested to visite Dutch companies together with our participants to get familiar with the things companies are doing in our own country, before going to Japan. We hope that your company agrees with us that is a great opportunity to present your company to its possible future employees.
